Service Description

This is a six-hour day of tuition, geared towards the student's individual needs. The day runs as follows: • 9:15 - Arrival and Introduction • 9:30-12:30 - Tuition, morning session • LUNCH • 14:30-17:30 - Tuition, afternoon session The tuition is conducted in the studio, and is focused on the particular wishes of the student. Specialist topics include: • Linear drumming • Broken time, time keeping, and jazz drumming • Fusion, solo, and improvisational playing • Hand technique • Snare drum repertoire and technique • Compositional approaches • Professional Consultation The student is invited to suggest their own topics at the time of booking. Consultations and non-drumming topics can be conducted away from the studio if appropriate. The student should make their own lunch arrangements, but are welcome to stay on the premise during the lunch break. Light snacks and refreshments are provided. Please note that this session is intended for students looking to engage deeply with their chosen topics, and is not recommended for younger students.

Cancellation Policy

Lessons missed or cancelled within 24 hours are fully chargeable.
