The book features ten solo scores, bass drum accompaniment scores, performance notes, compositional analysis, and an essay discussing the march format and the concepts employed.

Video performances of nine of the ten pieces are available, and play-along tracks featuring the bass drum parts are freely avilable online for those wishing to play the duets without a partner.
